This event, held within the premises of the EVBB conference room, served as a crucial platform for addressing pivotal topics in vocational education and training.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong>Exploring &#8220;Green Competence in Digital Environments\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the heart of the conference was the overarching theme, &#8220;<strong><em>Voices from the Industries<\/em><\/strong>.&#8221; This comprehensive exploration unfolded in two key segments, with the first focusing on the presentation of <a href=\"https:\/\/vetcamp-project.eu\/es\/\">VETCAMP<\/a> project results \u2013 namely the &#8220;Green Competences in Digital Environments\u201d component of the project. In this frame, the discussions centered around the intersection of environmental competencies and digital proficiency, shedding light on how vocational education can adapt to these transformative forces.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong>Roundtable Dialogue with Industry Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The second segment featured a dynamic roundtable session, bringing together representatives from key EU industries. Notable participants included the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ectaa.org\/en\">European Travel Agents\u2019 and Tour Operators\u2019 Associations (ECTAA)<\/a> \u2013 Ms. Christina Russe as Deputy Secretary General, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.european-entrepreneurs.org\/\">European Entrepreneurs (CEA-PME)<\/a> \u2013 Mr. Stefan Moritz, Secretary General, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebc-construction.eu\/\">European Builders Confederation (EBC)<\/a> \u2013 Mr. Fernando Sigchos, Secretary General, and <a href=\"https:\/\/windeurope.org\/\">Wind Europe<\/a> \u2013 Mariana Batista, Senior Advisor on Skills. This hybrid approach not only increased the event&#8217;s reach but also allowed for a more inclusive exchange of ideas. Participants, both present in the conference room and virtually connected, collectively contributed to the depth and diversity of the discussions on the quality of the project results as well as the next steps that needs to be undertaken the make VET more relevant for industry needs.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong>Key Takeaways and Industry Insights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the event unfolded under the expert guidance of the EVBB moderation (in the person of Mr. Antonio Gennarelli, EU Project Manager) it echoed key concepts and crucial aspects to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) ecosystem. The conference provided attendees with important insights into the current trends and emerging needs of industries.
